If you are refused entry to the UK, the border office will tell you in writing:
- why you have been refused entry;
- whether you have a right of appeal; and
- when you will be removed from the UK.
If you can appeal, we will give you details of who you should contact.
We may give you temporary admission to the UK until we make arrangements to remove you. We will tell you the conditions of your temporary admission in writing. We may remove you from the UK without giving you temporary admission. If there is time, we will let you contact any sponsors, your diplomatic representative in the UK, family, friends or a legal representative. We will provide an interpreter if you need one.
